We are grateful to the Forward Arts Foundation for their generous support of publications related to the Building on Dana / Patterns in Space exhibition, which include the facsimile of the brochure from the building’s dedication as well as a photographic book of the Dana Fine Arts Building in its community context, both forthcoming. We are looking forward to sharing both of them with our audience.
The Forward Arts Foundation was founded on September 21, just weeks before Dana Fine Arts Building was dedicated on October 13, 1965. Their funding, received in spring 2024, gave a reason to move quickly on a project that we had spent decades envisioning but not enacting. We appreciate the alignment this women’s organization with the mission of our historically women’s college. Thank you, Forward Arts Foundation, for the inspiration and the opportunity.
